BIOC 200 - Industrial Microbiology (4 semester hours) Semester Hours: 4 A study of micro-organisms, both nonpathogenic and pathogenic, occurs while highlighting the industrial applications. Topics include morphology, metabolism, growth, genetics, and control of the growth of these organisms.
Pre-requisites: BIOC 100 - General, Organic and Biochemistry (4 semester hours) .
Note: Approval is needed to pursue the Food Safety and Quality program’s Science Pathway B from the Chair of the Natural Science Division.
