Students who have successfully completed a minor in Cooperative Education from Lakeland University should be able to:

• Apply classroom skills and knowledge to real-world problems.
• Analyze an organization’s culture and practices.
• Demonstrate professional and ethical behavior.
• Formulate a plan for continued professional development and success.

Minor Requirements (23 semester hours)

• EXP 100 - Professional Protocol (1 semester hour)  
• EXP 300 - Experiential Learning Seminar (1 semester hour)  
  • Is completed two times, for a total of 2 semester hours
  • Co-requisite with either EXP 390 /XXX 390 - Cooperative Education Experience
• Any combination of EXP 390  and/or XXX 390 - Cooperative Education Experience (20 semester hours)

Notes:

• A student may not complete the Cooperative Education minor if a cooperative education emphasis or option is available in their selected major.
• International students may not complete the Cooperative Education minor.
