MU 652 - Philosophical Foundations & Current Perspectives in Music Education

Semester Hours: 3
Students will be able to examine cultural, philosophical, and historical approaches to music education in the United States. Approaches to music education curriculum design and accompanying socio-cultural trends, including the Kodály approach, will be examined as students develop their personal philosophy of music education. 

Pre-requisites: None.
