BUS 305 - Survey of the United States Healthcare System Semester Hours: 3 This course will explore the basic evolutionary track of the United States healthcare delivery system, its primary attributes, the continuous reconfiguration of delivering the multi-faceted health services, and the role of the public and private sectors in shaping the system. The course will focus on the positioning and repositioning of the system’s strategic process to meet the changes and capitalize on the new developments in the geo-demographic and new technological advancements. The course will discuss the basic foundations of the health care system by utilizing an integrative approach to the interrelatedness of the financing of health care services and the delivery system. In addition, the course will discuss the future of healthcare services.
