ESL 722 - Second Language Acquisition and Applied LinguisticsSemester Hours: 3 This course is a study of linguistics to prepare students for teaching English as a Second Language. Topics include theories of first and second language acquisition, contrastive analysis, error analysis, discourse analysis, and ESL/bilingual education.
Pre-requisites: one undergraduate course in research writing.
