ENG 370 - ShakespeareSemester Hours: 3 Shakespearean drama—representative comedies, histories, tragedies, and romances—within the cultural context of the late 1590s and 1600s. In addition to addressing such literary topics as genre, characterization, and theme, the instructor will approach the plays as scripts for performance. Films and attendance at a theatrical performance supplement the in-class discussion.
Pre-requisites: one 200-level English (ENG) course, junior standing, or consent.
