Graduate students achieve full-time status by enrolling in nine (9) or more graduate semester hours during the fall, spring, or summer terms. International students must enroll in a minimum of nine (9) graduate semester hours per term during the fall and spring terms. Enrollment in more than four (4) and fewer than nine (9) semester hours will qualify as one-half time status with the exception of enrollments in culminating experiences listed below:
Graduate students achieve full-time status by enrolling in nine (9) semester hours. Any graduate student who intends to enroll in more than 9 semester hours must receive special permission to do so from the Program Director or designee.
The following conditions apply to gain approval for an academic overload:
The student must have completed at least one prior semester at Lakeland University.
The student’s cumulative GPA must be above 3.5.
The student may enroll in no more than twelve (12) semester hours in any given term.
