Students must enroll in applied lessons for eight semesters; 1 credit = 30 minute lesson, 2 credits = 60 minute lesson; four semesters must be at the 444/445 level.
Students must give two recitals, typically done in the junior and senior years.
Piano Proficiency Test
Students must pass a piano proficiency test; the test is given at the conclusion of MUS 259 - Class Piano IV (2 semester hours), otherwise an incomplete for MUS 259 Class Piano IV will be given and the student must retake the test at the beginning of the subsequent term.
