ACC 465 - Accounting Information Systems Semester Hours: 3 A study of the design of information systems used by accounting professionals in gathering, processing, and reporting financial and operating information in business organizations. Applications in basic financial systems with an emphasis on information requirements for business decision making and internal control over data processing are studied. Packaged software applications are used to enhance the student’s ability to obtain a hands-on perspective to accounting information systems.
Pre-requisites: ACC 396 - Intermediate Accounting II or consent.
