FSQ 210 - Principles of Food Science Semester Hours: 3 This course provides students an introduction to the fundamentals of food science with an overview of food safety, technology and industry standards. Students will gain an understanding of food components and the principles of food processing, preparation, quality control, and storage. New technologies in food science and food safety challenges will be reviewed.
Pre-requisites: None.
