ENG 325 - How We Write: Style in Composition Semester Hours: 3 This course combines theory and practice. It initially explores current approaches to teaching writing and helping others become better, more confident writers, both in and out of the classroom. It then asks students to refine their own writing style, with a strong focus on crafting clear, elegant, and reader-focused texts. These two elements ultimately work together, as learning a specific vocabulary for talking about one’s own writing will help students develop their skills in helping the writing of others.
Pre-requisites: GEN 112 - Composition II: Argumentation and Research and at least one ENG course; junior standing; or consent.
Offered: Spring, even years.
