SPA 401 - Spanish Practicum in Translation/Interpretation Semester Hours: 3
Spanish 401: Spanish Practicum in Translation/Interpretation is a continuation of the intro. to translation and interpreting course. This is a project-based course in liaison with a community business or company aiming at developing the basic techniques needed for translation within a real working environment. Emphasis will be placed on command of appropriate professional lexicon and awareness of the relationship between language and culture.
Pre-requisites: SPA 352 - Introduction to Translation and Interpreting in Spanish-English , or consent.
Offered: Spring, odd years.
