SPA 352 - Introduction to Translation and Interpreting in Spanish-English

Spanish 352: Introduction to Translation and Interpreting in Spanish-English is designed to be an introduction to theory and practice of translation, from Spanish to English and vice versa. The course will cover the essentials of translation in a variety of texts. The course includes regular translation and interpreting assignments as well as a supervised final project and final interpreting practice.

Pre-requisites: SPA 351 - Advanced Spanish Through Textual Analysis and Conversation, SPA 203 - Spanish for Heritage & Bilingual Speakers III or above, or consent.
