REL 362 - Biblical Interpretation, Inspiration and Canon (WI)

Semester Hours: 3
(Writing-Intensive)
This course will introduce students to the field of biblical study, granting them the opportunity to gain some proficiency in the basic skills of biblical interpretation and to explore the topics of biblical inspiration and authority. The course will also provide a survey of various contemporary approaches to biblical study, including historical, literary, feminist, liberationist, and canonical approaches.

Pre-requisites: GEN 112 - Composition II: Argumentation and Research ; as well as REL 111 - Old Testament as an Act of Resistance  or REL 122 - New Testament as a Call for Defiance , or consent.
