Students who have successfully completed a B.A. in Social Justice Studies from Lakeland University should be able to:
- Describe the reality, manifestations, and consequences of systemic injustice and interpersonal bias.
- Evaluate responses to specific injustices designed to alleviate immediate suffering and to facilitate social transformation.
- Design and apply responses to specific injustices to alleviate immediate human suffering and to facilitate social transformation.
- Apply responses to specific needs or injustices within the context of local non-profit agencies or for-profit companies.
- Examine and describe their own gifts and sense of call as agents of transformation for the common good.
