Industrial Systems Data Analytics, B.S.

Students who have successfully completed a B.S. in Industrial Systems Data Analytics from Lakeland University should be able to:

  • Develop a computer program using programming languages.
  • Properly manage databases.
  • Apply project management principles and techniques to data sciences projects
  • Assess the quality of data input, interpret results, and investigate issues for large data sets using appropriate technical methods and models.
  • Use mathematical methods and statistical methods and techniques in models and data science.
  • Develop a statistical model using statistical software packages.
  • Formulate and use appropriate models of industrial data analysis to solutions to industry-related challenges.

  • Cooperative Education for Industrial Systems Data Analytics major only (20-24 semester hours):
  • A student is not eligible to complete Cooperative Education emphasis requirements of other majors.

Notes:


  • A student completing a major in Industrial Systems Data Analytics is not eligible to earn a minor in Computer Science.
  • A student completing a major in Industrial Systems Data Analytics may opt to complete courses from the available Computer Science emphases to augment their major (that are not duplicative of the major requirements).
