Students who have successfully completed a B.A. in Psychology from Lakeland University should be able to:

Demonstrate a working knowledge of psychology’s content domains.
Identify the fundamental principles of psychological research.
Apply ethical standards to evaluate psychological science.
Demonstrate effective writing to summarize psychological research.
Develop professional direction for life after graduation.

Major Requirements (48-57 semester hours)

Content Areas (24 semester hours):

Complete two courses from each content area for a total of twenty-four (24) semester hours.

Traditional Track

Cooperative Education Track

Complete fifteen (15) semester hours from the following:

EXP 100 - Professional Protocol (1 semester hour)
EXP 300 - Experiential Learning Seminar (1 semester hour) - Co-requisite with first experience of PSY /EXP 390
EXP 301 - Work, Ethics, and the Good Life (1 semester hour) - Co-requisite with second experience of PSY /EXP 390
PSY 390 - Cooperative Education Experience–Psychology (1-12 semester hours) - Completed two times for a total of twelve (12) semester hours
Optional Summer Experience: PSY 391 - Cooperative Education Experience–Psychology (0 semester hours)

Complete three (3) additional semester hours from the following:
