Social Justice Studies Minor

Students who have successfully completed a minor in Social Justice Studies at Lakeland University should be able to:
- explain the reality, manifestations, and consequences of systemic injustice and interpersonal bias
- describe responses to specific injustices in order to alleviate immediate suffering and to facilitate social transformation
- practice responses to specific injustices in order to alleviate immediate human suffering and to facilitate social transformation
- describe and practice the work of social justice within the context of local non-profit agencies or for-profit companies
- articulate their own gifts and sense of call as agents of transformation for the common good
