Students who have successfully completed a B.A. in Psychology from Lakeland University should be able to:
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of psychology’s content domains.
- Identify the fundamental principles of psychological research.
- Apply ethical standards to evaluate psychological science.
- Demonstrate effective writing to summarize psychological research.
- Develop professional direction for life after graduation.

Major Requirements (48 semester hours)
Content Areas (24 semester hours):
Complete two courses from each content area for a total of twenty-four (24) semester hours.

Two of the following:
Self and Others
Two of the following:
Electives (9 semester hours):
Complete nine (9) additional semester hours from the following:
OR
- Courses not used to satisfy the Content Areas requirement
- Any additional psychology (PSY) courses offered
Optional Learning Experience:
- PSY 391 - Cooperative Education Experience–Psychology (0 semester hours)*
*Courses offered at Lakeland University’s main campus location only. Students must physically attend all classes at this location.
