The eSports minor provides students with the background knowledge and experience to navigate the rapidly expanding and complex eSports industry. Offering several emphases, the minor allows students to select a course of study that best aligns with their interests and major program. 

Program Learning Outcomes

Students completing this minor will be able to:

1. describe the various components and historical context of the esports industry,
2. articulate and analyze connections between esports, related industries, and cultural trends,
3. identify and analyze diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging issues that often emerge within esports and gaming,
4. demonstrate competence in a particular area of emphasis related to eSports.
