The Associate of Arts degree at Lakeland provides students with a broad foundation in the disciplines of the traditional liberal arts. Ideal for students who may need to complete their education in stages, this degree allows students to explore a variety of disciplinary perspectives while also developing their capacity to think critically, communicate effectively, and understand the world in which they live. Students completing the Associate of Arts degree have also completed many of the Interdisciplinary Studies requirements of Lakeland’s Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, and Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees.
