English as a Second Language (ESL) Graduate Certificate Requirements (9 semester hours):

• ESL 722 - Second Language Acquisition and Applied Linguistics    
• ESL 724 - Teaching Methods in ESL  
• ESL 730 - Teaching Practicum and Professional Practice  

Notes:

• The ESL Graduate Certificate is delivered online in partnership with Fox Valley Technical College.
• Students interested in completing the ESL Graduate Certificate should contact an academic advisor in order to declare intention to complete this certificate.
• Students must earn a cumulative 3.0 GPA in order to earn this certificate.
• Certificates are awarded from the School of Humanities and Fine Arts and do not appear on Lakeland transcripts.
