A laboratory course that emphasizes evolutionary and structural aspects of diversity within the plant kingdom. Explores the physiology of plants through studies of osmolarity, photosynthesis, differentiation and growth, genetics and reproduction. Specific agricultural aspects are emphasized with respect to humans.

Pre-requisites: BIO 112 - Life Sciences II (4 semester hours) .
