CHM 285 - Chemistry of Materials Semester Hours: 3
Starting with materials commonly found in society students will explore the chemical properties that lead to each material’s macroscopic properties including its atomic and molecular structure, intermolecular properties, chemical behavior, and physical properties. Thermodynamic and kinetic properties will also be examined.
Pre-requisites: Admission into the Engineering Technology major or by consent of the Chemistry Faculty and/or academic administration overseeing the Chemistry courses.
