DAT 445 - Systems Analysis & Design (WI)

This course provides the opportunity to design, implement, and document the system’s development life cycle. Various software engineering analysis and design tools and techniques will be emphasized, such as information gathering for defining system requirements, process modeling with data flow diagrams or use cases, data dictionaries, prototyping, and graphical user interface (GUI) design. The course will also present current topics, such as agile development, extreme programming, rapid application development (RAD), Scrum and the Unified Modeling Language (UML).

Pre-requisites: CPS 200 - Programming I, or equivalent, and DAT 210 - Database Basics.
