ENG 480 - Special Topics in English Semester Hours: 3 A seminar focusing on an individual genre (fiction, poetry, or drama) or author in a historical context or a special problem in literary criticism. Students are expected to demonstrate an ability to handle different critical approaches, express themselves orally in a seminar format, and evaluate major writers or movements.
Pre-requisites: One 200-level English (ENG) course, junior standing, or consent.
