EDU 330 - Human Growth and Development Semester Hours: 3 The nature of human development from conception through adulthood. A comprehensive overview of human development research methodology. Special emphasis on key concepts in major developmental theories including biosocial, cognitive, psychological, emotional, and social development and their application to the maturing individual. First-hand knowledge of contemporary issues and controversies in the study of infants, children, adolescents, and adults.
Pre-requisites: PSY 200 - General Psychology or EDU 230 / PSY 230 - Educational Psychology or SOC 220 / PSY 220 - Social Psychology and sophomore standing, or consent.
