SOC 312 - Sociology of Gender

Semester Hours: 3
A lecture-discussion course exploring the historical and cross-cultural variations in the social meanings of being female and male. The implications of these meanings for gender role socialization and gender stratification within family, employment and work, politics, and religion in the context of modern society.

Pre-requisites: SOCP 220 - Social Psychology  or consent.
