Investigates post-classical nineteenth century literature, particularly die deutsche Romantik. Other literary movements of the time, such as Biedermeier, Junges Deutschland, and Realismus will also be discussed. Classes are conducted in German.

Pre-requisites: GER 202 - Intermediate German II or consent.
