GER 410 - Classicism Semester Hours: 3
Examines German literature and culture during the age of Schiller and Goethe from the time of their “Storm and Stress” beginnings through the new “Golden Age” of German Classicism. In addition to Goethe and Schiller, other major writers of the period, such as Lessing, Klopstock, and Herder will be discussed. Classes are conducted in German.
Pre-requisites: GER 202 - Intermediate German II or consent.
