BUS 493 - Leadership and Followership (WI) Semester Hours: 3 The intent of this course is to provide for students an opportunity to explore the prominent leadership theories embraced by businesses leaders today. An in depth review of the role of followership will offer insight into the employee’s role in the developing successful business relationships with the leader. Successful followership is foundational to becoming a successful leader. Students will review prominent literature on today’s most prominent leadership styles, evaluate cases to identify the leadership style in use, and develop their own followership skills through self-reflection.
Pre-requisites: GEN 112 Composition II: Argumentation and Research
