REL 111 - Old Testament as an Act of Resistance Semester Hours: 3 The course introduces students to the profound and often challenging traditions of the Old Testament, unveiling their character as sacred testimony shaped to help ancient Israel remember its identity and resist assimilation. The course also equips students with the background and skills they need to explore the witness of the Old Testament traditions in both their ancient and contemporary contexts.
