ENG 250 - Introduction to Women’s Literature Semester Hours: 3 Examines women’s writing from 1800 to the present. Focuses on representations of women in literature, challenges faced by women writers, and the development of a women’s literary tradition. Emphasis on developing skills needed for literary analysis. Authors studied may include Austen, Dickinson, Chopin, Woolf, Rich, and Morrison.
Pre- or co-requisites: GEN 110 Composition I: Academic Writing (4 semester hours) or consent of the instructor.
