COM 330 - Strategic New Media and Digital Communication Semester Hours: 3 With the expectations created by the relative ease of access to electronic promotion formats, everyone in the 21st century is a digital communicator. Nowhere is this realization more critical than professionally. This course introduces students to a variety of communication skills needed to successfully negotiate the increasingly digital professional world. Instruction emphasizes the variety of ways that potential communication careers utilize new media to accomplish objectives in the public and private sectors. Students will have the opportunity to publish and work on actual new media campaigns in order to hone these skills.
Pre-requisites: GEN 110 - Composition I: Academic Writing (4 semester hours) and completion of one 200-level COM course.
Offered: Fall, odd years.
