BIO 101 - Environmental Science (4 semester hours)

Semester Hours: 4
An introductory course in environmental science with specific emphasis on current environmental problems, their causes, and their possible solutions. Examples include climate change, biodiversity, endangered species, pollution, and energy alternatives. Covered are basic ecological concepts, biotic and abiotic cycles, natural resources, and conservation. This course includes a laboratory.
