BUS 493 - Leadership and Followership (WI)Semester Hours: 3 The intent of this course is to provide for students an opportunity to explore the prominent leadership theories embraced by businesses leaders today. An in-depth review of the role of followership will offer insight into the employee’s role in developing successful business relationships with the leader. Successful followership is foundational to becoming a successful leader. Students will review prominent literature on today’s most prominent leadership styles, evaluate cases to identify the leadership style in use, and develop their own followership skills through self-reflection.
