BUS 492 - Organizational LeadershipSemester Hours: 3 This course invites students to apply the skills and tools necessary to fulfill his/her role as a leader of an organization. The course presents a comprehensive, integrative, and practical focus on leadership and organizational management. It is based upon a framework that analyzes leadership and management at different levels: individual leadership, team leadership, and organizational leadership. The course presents leadership and management theories/concepts that have emerged over the past several decades. In addition, students will survey contemporary perspectives on ethics, coaching, organizational culture, diversity, strategic leadership, managing change, organizational development, and crisis leadership.
Pre-requisites: BUS 330 - Management Principles .
