PSY 330 - Human Growth and DevelopmentSemester Hours: 3 The nature of human development from conception through adulthood. A comprehensive overview of human development research methodology. Special emphasis on key concepts in major developmental theories including biosocial, cognitive, psycho-logical, emotional, and social development and their application to the maturing individual. First-hand knowledge of contemporary issues and controversies in the study of infants, children, adolescents, and adults.
Pre-requisites: PSY 200 - General Psychology or EDU 230 / PSY 230 - Educational Psychology or SOC 220 / PSY 220 - Social Psychology and sophomore standing
