COM 340 - Communication TheorySemester Hours: 3
This course provides students with a thorough investigation of various communication theories across the discipline. These theories are foundational to the communication practitioner and scholar. Theories cover subdisciplines such as interpersonal communication, small group communication, persuasion, mass media, intercultural communication, and critical/cultural approaches to communication.
Pre-requisites: GEN 112 - Composition II: Argumentation and Research , completion of one 200-level COM course, and at least junior standing.
