SPA 366 - Literature in the Spanish Speaking World (WI)

Semester Hours: 3
(Writing-Intensive)
An in-depth study of selected literary works of Spanish speaking countries, with emphasis on the historical and cultural context in which they were written. This course does not include exams but a crucial component of conducting research using library resources effectively throughout the term to write critical response papers and solid research essays under the MLA Guidelines. The student’s preparedness regarding readings and other assignments together with class attendance and participation are highly expected, valued and graded.

Pre-requisites: GEN 112 - Composition II: Argumentation and Research  and SPA 351 - Advanced Spanish Through Textual Analysis and Conversation , or consent.

Offered: Fall, odd years.
