COM 235 - Communication, Conflict, & Negotiation Semester Hours: 3 This course examines communication’s role in effective conflict management and negotiation within organizational, consumer, interpersonal, and public contexts. Topics include the nature of conflict; emotions in conflict; power; negotiation; goal attainment; conflict styles; competitive and collaborative strategies & tactics; third-party intervention; and mediation.
