EDU 351 - English Language Arts Teaching Techniques for Middle and High Schools

Semester Hours: 3
This course emphasizes the organization of the middle and high schools, including its ELA programs, objectives, and planning, as well as the selection and organization of learning experiences, assessments, working with school personnel, promoting family and community involvement in the schools, and career preparation. Classroom organization, management, and discipline will also be covered.  

Pre-requisites: EDU 100 - Introduction to Education , EDU 330 /PSY 330 - Human Growth and Development , junior standing, and consent of the Director of the Center for Teacher Excellence, OR EDU 330 /PSY 330 - Human Growth and Development  and admission to the Education Program.
