CHM 140 - Our Dynamic Planet Semester Hours: 3
Offered at Lakeland University Japan. A study of the earth’s origin, the major types of rock formations, minerals, glacial formations, ocean basin development, plate tectonics, internal earth structure, crustal deformation, weathering, geological time scale, fossils, volcanism, earthquakes, climates, and wind currents. Emphasized throughout the course are the measurable impacts of human beings on the earth’s geosphere, atmosphere, hydrosphere, and biosphere, and vice versa.
