COM 350 - Rhetorical Criticism (WI)

Semester Hours: 3
(Writing Intensive)
A survey of a variety of rhetorical methods of analyzing discourse and other communicative objects/artifacts, including how and why rhetorical analysis is attempted and what can be done with the results. Emphasis is placed on how understanding the various tools of rhetorical criticism help students become more effective message producers.  

Pre-requisites: GEN 112 - Composition II: Argumentation and Research , completion of one 200-level COM course, and at least junior standing.

Offered: Spring, even years.
