BUS 487 - Sales Management Semester Hours: 3 The broad set of verbal and writing skills utilized by today’s sales managers is explored to prepare students for front-line sales management. Effective management of customer and employee issues, company objectives, financial accountability, customer behavior and employee motivation are applied to various management methodologies. Legal, social, and ethical standards are overlaid against the manager’s need to maximize sales and maintain budget efficiency. Employee mentoring and inter-company communications skills are developed with interactive role playing and case study assignments.
Pre-requisites: MKT 350 - Marketing Principles .
