BIO 111 - Life Sciences I (4 semester hours) Semester Hours: 4 An introductory course that presents the basic biological concepts of the chemistry of life, cell structure, cell function, the genetic basis of life, and the mechanisms of evolution. This course includes a laboratory.
Pre- or co-requisites: MAT 120 - Quantitative Reasoning , MAT 140 - Advanced Algebra , or placement out of any Lakeland University MAT course; recommended for science majors only.
