ESS 323 - Introduction to Orthopedic Surgery and Rehabilitation (1 semester hour)
Semester Hours: 1 This course will review of relevant anatomical structures and the medical terminology associated with surgery for a variety of orthopedic issues. Students will review a variety of orthopedic surgery procedures via video, including the identification of pathology and surgical interventions. An overview of post-surgery rehabilitation will be provided. Students will integrate previous coursework and apply concepts related to the rehabilitation of patients.
