GDN 265 - History of Graphic Design Semester Hours: 3 This course will explore the evolution of graphic design from the invention of writing through the digital age. Students will study major art movements from a graphic design perspective. Emphasis will be placed on learning, identifying, and analyzing the key characteristics within each movement, including themes, aesthetics, artists/designers and creative work.
