COM 220 - Persuasion & Advocacy Semester Hours: 3 This course focuses on research, theory, and practice relating to persuasion and strategic influence, and studies the motivational factors involved in persuasive speaking to secure belief and action. These topics include advocacy, or how to “sell” oneself in a competitive professional world and successfully pitch ideas. Students will be assessed in large part through project-based evaluations.
Pre-requisites: COM 111 - Fundamentals of Public Speaking .
