ANT 200 - Introduction to Archaeology Semester Hours: 3 The discipline of archaeology is primarily concerned with interpreting past societies through their material remains (artifacts). In this introductory course students will gain a cursory understanding of the methods, techniques, goals, and theoretical concepts that archaeologists use to investigate past peoples’ way of life and their cultural remains.
